Everyone has been asking and speculating how we will receive Alpha packs in game and the answer is in a single frame in the video I noticed. Pause the video at 2:25On the left for a split second is a paragraph that explains how to obtain one.

It appears that each match of multiplayer played will increase your odds and each match won will 'roll the dice' with those odds to determine if you get a pack. So it will only be possible to get an alpha pack from winning a game but the amount of games you have played will increase the likelihood of getting one.If you cannot read the paragraph it can be seen clearer in a gif post of the loot system by at 2 seconds in for a single frame.EDIT: a better description from epi can be found below. I've been long enough on reddit to not bother when i get downvoted because 95% of the times they are idiots. Sounds harsh, but 1st the downvote button is NOT meant as a way to express your disagreement but as a way to keep spam away.

2nd people downvote when a post is already downvoted, they don't think for themselves. And they saw 'i want microtransactions' in my post and started crying before thinking. Thats probably the only reason those crates are renown only for now, because the community would cry like little babys even though there would be no negative impact for them. I'm calling it now that sooner or later we will be able to buy them for real money. People say 'cash grab' but they don't see how dire some of the funding for those dev teams to keep supporting it. Maps and stuff come out for free so they need some source of income to keep the servers running.I mean i understand if they were locking actual content with keys or something but its all cosmetic shit anyway. I understand the whole 'just make a cosmetic shop' but people are more likely to GAMBLE over out right purchase.

And sadly thats where you make the most money in microtransactions.
